Published titration / dose schedule

For weight management (Wegovy), the FDA prescribing information describes a fixed 16-week escalation before the maintenance dose, raising the dose every 4 weeks to improve gastrointestinal tolerability:

0.25 mg weekly (weeks 1–4) → 0.5 mg (weeks 5–8) → 1.0 mg (weeks 9–12) → 1.7 mg (weeks 13–16) → 2.4 mg as the maintenance dose from week 17. The label states the 0.25 mg starting dose is for initiation and is not intended for glycaemic or weight effect.
